Long Island Man Nabbed For Alleged Sexual Assault, Police Search For Other Victims

Police arrested a Long Island man for reportedly raping a child and have asked any other potential victims to come forward.

Baldwin man Stephen Vickers-Griffiths, age 35, was arrested on Monday, February 26, according to Nassau County Police.

Vickers-Griffiths allegedly sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl and was arrested at Pines Motor Lodge in Westbury, located at 101 Taylor Avenue.

He was charged with the following: 

  • Rape; 
  • Criminal sexual act, two counts; and 
  • Endangering the welfare of a child. 

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and is next due in court on Tuesday, April 23. 

Additional details have not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
